Preschool is your child’s first introduction to a lifetime of learning! The Children’s School of Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ combines learning experiences and structured play in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment – offering far more than just childcare. Our focus is to make sure each child is happy, thriving, and ready for what comes next. We support diversity, inclusion, belonging, and making our school a place where children feel emotionally and physically safe. All of our classrooms are filled with materials to provoke children’s questions, ideas, and attitudes. Flexibility in the classroom curriculum is stressed so that we may best meet the needs of each child.

We believe that open communication between parents and teachers is key to a happy and successful preschool experience. After much research, we have decided to implement using the Class Dojo app to streamline communication for our school. Please remember to turn on your notifications as we will be making this our primary means of communication. Please remember to check your child’s folder each day for lesson plans, notes, and your child’s fabulous creations!

Our day begins at 9:00am and ends at 1:00pm.
If you would like to speak to your child’s teacher at any time, please set-up a time with her that will not interfere with her care of your children and the schedule of the class.

You are welcome to visit Preschool at any time, but (for safety reasons), all entry points to the school remain locked when children are present. Please call the office for admittance. Children will be placed in classes based upon Aug. 31st birthday cutoff. This is based on guidelines set by the N.C. Legislature for beginning kindergartners.
